File and folder backup does exactly what it says: it copies the files and folders you choose to the Canadian cloud every night, and you can get any of them back. It's affordable and it's far better than nothing. But it does not capture Windows, your applications or your settings, so when a server fails the recovery is a rebuild, and rebuilds take days.
Typically 2–5 business days after a server failure: source hardware, reinstall Windows, reinstall and license every application, then restore the data and reconfigure. Individual file restores, by contrast, take minutes.

When a server fails: the rebuild
New hardware has to be sourced. Windows is reinstalled. Each application is reinstalled and re-licensed with its vendor. Then the data is restored and everything is reconfigured and tested. Expect days, and expect to be on the phone with vendors.

Once the rebuild is complete and the restored data is verified, staff can log in again.

What it doesn't do
